PULL OUT TEST

Objective:

This method aims to determine the pullout strength of hardened concrete.

Procedure:

The strength is assessed by measuring the force necessary to extract a metal insert along with the concrete fragment it's embedded in from a concrete sample or structure

Application:

The insert can either be placed during the pouring of fresh concrete or installed into already hardened concrete.

Limitations:

This method specifically focuses on pullout strength and does not include statistical procedures for estimating other strength properties.
